Dancing Bean Espresso Bar – With the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans and delicious breakfasts, this is the place to be. Tucked away down a little lane, it is a favourite place for many locals. It is dog friendly too, and whether you are dining inside soaking up the industrial vibes or on the patio soaking up some sunny rays, this is the perfect cafe in Ipswich Central to visit. 2. Tranquil Tea House – Tranquil Tea House is run by Sri Lankan-born Dona Perera. Her passion for the pure taste of real tea has grown into a thriving business. Tea tasting or high tea can be set in an orchard, or a well-decorated indoor dining space. Just make sure you arrive with an appetite and a thirst for quality tea! 3. The Sourdough Crust Co. – You’ll adore the perfect antipasto platter and the freshest pizzas at The Sourdough Crust Co. The pizza is woodfired and there are take-home kits so you can prepare your own sourdough pizza at home. 4. The Retro Diner – This is an impressive dog friendly diner with amazing breakfasts and generous servings. The cappuccino was great and came served in an Elvis mug. There is a special menu for kids, and they will love the waffles served with ice cream and maple syrup. 5. Elderflower Café – Enjoy a hot breakfast, delicious coffee, and tasty baked goods. This cafe also accommodates children with a blackboard and colouring supplies. Be ready to enjoy the ambiance and freshness created by the many plants and flowers all around. It is a lovely place to be.
6. The Rusty Nail – This is a great place to have a few drinks and tapas with friends and colleagues. The bar has a beautiful industrial- style interior, an underground wine bar and the seating space spills onto the pavement. Tables are nestled snuggly among others, so you’ll quickly make new friends. 7. Barkley and Pips Dog Cafe – What a pawfect place! Here we enjoy a superb coffee, smoothie, cake, or if it’s the middle of the day, an alfresco lunch. The grooming is excellent and when the Exploradog has been pampered, he enjoys a nutritious goat-milk Puppaccino with turmeric. Then, a play in the doggy ball pen. 8. Ipswich Jets Leagues Club – At Ipswich Jets Leagues Club we enjoyed a scrumptious traditional roast dinner served by the crackling fireplace. The food was accompanied by a perfect glass of full-bodied shiraz and finished off with melt-in-your-mouth pavlova. Beyond the food, the new marble bar adds to the club's beautiful interior.
