For more shopping and the chance to have a lux picnic, wander around the corner to The Soul Nook Collective . You can book in for a styled picnic in a luxurious bell tent under the trees or simply shop the artisan and ethically sourced products available. There’s also coffee and cake if you haven’t had enough already! Before you visit check to see if there’s an art and craft class, their regular yoga or tarot sessions and book in, as spaces fill fast. After lunch and a browse, you can walk across to the Marburg Heritage Centre building, the park and a quirky Community Library to explore some of the history of the town.

Next, stop for a drink at one of the oldest pubs in the Ipswich region, the Marburg Hotel across the road from the park. Learn a few ghost tales while having a beer at the bar. In the afternoon drive over to Woodlands of Marburg , to stay in one of their luxury suites. Explore the manicured grounds including the grotto and onsite cemetery, and book dinner at The Sugarmill Restaurant , set inside the historic mansion. If you happen to be visiting on one of the nights the Haunted Mansion tours run, book in to learn spooky tales about the property. Wake up on Sunday morning and relax by the pool, which was originally hand dug by priests that lived onsite back in the 1960s. Grab breakfast at Tommy Smith Cafe onsite, before heading home.

The Llama Farm is nestled between the rolling foothills of beautiful Pine Mountain and the tranquil waters of the mid-Brisbane River, just 15 minutes from the Ipswich CBD. It is the largest working llama farm in Queensland offering authentic rural tourism experiences to visitors of all ages. Aside from llamas, there are a variety of other animals to encounter including camels, donkeys, miniature ponies, sheep, goats, emus, rabbits, cavies and poultry.
