Active Kids - Silent Disco

ACTIVE KIDS SILENT DISCO SOCIAL STORY

In the school holidays I will go to the Active Kids Silent Disco. I will go with my family, friends or carer.

I will remember to bring my: water bottle shoes snacks

I can bring other items that help me feel safe.

The silent disco starts at 9.00 am and will finish at 11.00 am. It will go for two hours.

When I arrive, I will meet Dani from Ipswich City Council. She will check me in and show me around. I will then get to learn how to use the headphones.

I will get to choose what I listen to and what volume it is. I will get to do my favourite dance moves.

I can choose to dance and play with other children. I can choose to dance and play with other adults. I can choose to dance and play by myself.

I don’t have to stay the whole time and can leave when I have had enough.

I will then get in the car and head back home. I will have a great time at the Silent Disco. I am excited!
