University of Southern Queensland, Ipswich Sport : Strength and conditioning / recovery

Centrally located adjacent to the Ipswich CBD, UniSQ’s almost $40 million Ipswich Health Building will set a new benchmark for athlete development and performance in the region. Designed to cater for pre-elite student-athletes and international sporting teams, the 3,000-square-metre facility will feature world-class training, recovery, and performance-testing spaces, including a dedicated recovery hub with a sauna, hot and cold tubs, and pneumatic compression boots. The facility will empower UniSQ to deliver cutting-edge education and research that support elite athletes and the broader community. Civil early works are underway, with construction to begin in early 2026 and completion planned for early 2027.
