Earth Frequency

Earth Frequency started as a small Landcare party in 2005 and was one of Australia’s first transformational gatherings. Expect an eclectic mix of live and electronic music, performance, visionary art, workshops and lectures, a family and kid’s space as well as markets.

Every year thousands of people head to a remote bush location in Ipswich to soak up the bush vibes, cool tunes and practice mindful living. The Earth Frequency Festival is a unique music, arts and environmental festival held at Ivory’s Rock.

CMC Rocks QLD Every year more than 20,000 people descend on Willowbank Raceway to hear the world’s top country music performers. CMC Rocks QLD has become a premier country music event with tickets selling out in a matter of hours after being released.

International headline acts in the past have included Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, the Dixie Chicks, Lady Antebellum and Lee Brice. Every year the line-up includes top Aussie acts as well like Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley, Lee Kernaghan, Adam Brand and Morgan Evans.

Christmas in Ipswich Ipswich lights up for Christmas with a magical display. Thousands come to see the displays, listen to roving carollers and see Santa. Last year the first Finding Santa augmented reality hunt was held in Ipswich, offering the chance to see Santa and his friends in 40 locations across the Ipswich region and take free photos with the characters. The Finding Santa fun is set to return this year.

Winternationals Australia’s biggest drag racing event, and the biggest outside of North America, is held at Willowbank Raceway every year. This year the racing will be extended to five days of high octane action over 3–7 June.

If you’ve never been before make sure to catch the amazing flame-throwing top fuel dragsters getting up to 500km/h over the quarter mile. More than 500 cars and bikes will be racing for your viewing pleasure and the best bit, kids aged under 13 get in for free!
