Galvanized (1–11 September 2022) A festival of heritage, showcasing the best heritage experiences and events Ipswich has to offer across 10 days. Be transported back in time by visiting iconic venues, historic sites and homes and participating in lost trades workshops. 7. CMC Rocks QLD (23–25 September 2022) CMC Rocks QLD has become a premier country music event with more than 20,000 patrons. International headline acts are the major drawcard, but the festival also draws in some great homegrown talent like Adam Brand, Kasey Chambers, Morgan Evans and Lee Kernaghan. 8. Christmas in Ipswich (December 2022) Celebrate the festive season in style with Christmas in Ipswich. It all kicks off with the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree and concludes with some New Year’s Eve family fun. There's also stunning Christmas light displays to explore including the St Nicholas Precinct and more.

1. Planes, Trains and Autos (30 April – 1 May 2022)

Looking for an adrenaline-charged weekend? A celebration of all things aviation, rail and autos takes place on the long weekend in May. Immerse yourself in a day fuelled with activities, exhibitions and displays at The Workshops Railway Museum and then join in satellite events while in town including the Queensland Auto Spectacular at Willowbank Raceway . 2. Earth Frequency (6–9 May 2022) Every year thousands of people head to a remote bush location in Ipswich to soak up the tranquillity, cool tunes and practice mindful living. The Earth Frequency Festival features an eclectic mix of live and electronic music, performance, visionary art, workshops and lectures, a family and kid’s space as well as markets. 3. The Gathering (21–22 May 2022) Bring the clan for a celebration of Celtic music, culture and performance. The festival includes highland games, a pipe band spectacular,

Celtic dancing and music, medieval re-enactments as well as markets, international food and traditional fare over two days. 4. Festival of Horsepower (June 2022) Festival of Horsepower is a month- long program in June, packed full of adrenaline and excitement. Over four weekends, visitors will be spoilt for choice with events across the city including Queensland's most attended horse racing event the Ipswich Cup and Australia's premier drag racing event the Winternationals , kart racing championships and more. 5. SPARK Ipswich (7–17 July 2022) SPARK Ipswich , the reimagined Ipswich Festival, is a city-wide event celebrating the people, laces, arts and culture of Ipswich. The program features
