VENTURE into the great outdoors! With over 6,000ha of open parks and conservation areas it’s no wonder Ipswich is starting to become the home of so many outdoor recreation and endurance events. Take part in a season of challenge with cycling, mountain biking and trail running events to suit the whole family.

BVRT FESTIVAL OF CYCLING Saturday 5 June Yarraman Trail Head Gravel cycling with a choice of 45km, 74km and 161km distances. Off road fun for all levels of ability.

MERIDA HIDDEN VALE 24HR Saturday 10 - Sunday 11 April Hidden Vale Adventure Park Choose from Solo, Team Relay or Kids Mountain Biking legs. If a 24hr race isn’t for you there’s also a 4hr option and a 24 minute ride for the kids.

PARK2PARK FUN RUN Sunday 25 July | Limestone Park A charity Fun Run with distances including half marathon, half marathon relay, 10km, 5km, 2.5km, and a kids obstacle course.
