VENTURE into the great outdoors! With over 6,000ha of open parks and conservation areas it’s no wonder Ipswich is starting to become the home of so many outdoor recreation and endurance events. From January to November the region delivers a season of outdoor events encouraging adventure enthusiasts to venture to Ipswich for cycling, mountain biking and trail running, as well as family friendly outdoor events across the city.

IPSWICH 100 Sunday 26 March 2023 Starting Point: UniSQ Ipswich Campus The Ipswich100 Charity Bike Ride is a project of Brisbane West Lions Club in association with the Ipswich Hospital Foundation. All proceeds from the ride are donated to charity. Take a ride for a great cause!

MERIDA 24 HOUR Saturday 1 – Sunday 2 April 2023 Hidden Vale Adventure Park The ‘MERIDA Hidden Vale 24HR’ is a Solo, Team Relay and Kids Mountain Biking event starting at 12.00 pm Saturday and finishing at 12.00 pm Sunday. Riders compete for medals, prizes and bragging rights. It’s a weekend filled with camaraderie, activities and fun that you’ll never forget!
