Free Community Viewing Hubs

Defence, in partnership with the Ipswich City Council, will host the Ipswich Amberley Air Tattoo at Australia’s largest Air Force base, RAAF Base Amberley.

Experience the sights and sounds of the flypasts at one of council’s free viewing hubs. Gather your family and friends and visit one of three sites across the city; Ipswich, Springfield and Rosewood. Themed Viewing Hubs will offer clear

sight lines in the direct path of the flypasts, defence commentary of the air displays and food trucks. The flypasts will grace the city skies twice daily; during the morning 10.00 am – 12.00 pm, and again in the afternoon from 1.00 pm – 3.00 pm.
