Ipswich in Spring 2024

FUN KIDS’ THINGS TO DO It is not quite the school holidays yet, but if you are looking for something you and the kiddies can do together before or planning ahead, we have got a few ideas. Either head out for a day at the Queensland Museum Rail Workshops (pictured), ride the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail , take a picnic in the park or try a child-friendly escape room at Seraphim Escape Rooms .

SEE SOME BABY ANIMALS Spring is the season for rebirth, it is when baby birds break open their shells and wildflowers bloom. And at our hobby farms it usually means there is baby lambs, kids and llamas. The Ewe Nique Hobby Farm’s (pictured) lambing season goes from winter into spring each year. The Llama Farm has many different animals on the farm so you are bound to see some babies in spring. At the Ipswich Nature Centre , if the animals have been busy expect to see some babies also.

GO ON AN ANTIQUES SHOPPING TRAIL If you love history and shopping, then check out antique and vintage stores packed full of items with history. Explore the Ipswich Antique Centre and The Vintage Advantage in Ipswich Central or head out to Marburg for Scotland Yard Antiques (pictured) and The Black Museum .
