Ipswich in Winter 2022

Message from Ipswich Mayor, Teresa Harding

With plenty going on during the cold months to keep you warm this winter, I’m very excited to welcome you to the latest Ipswich in Winter. Our lovely sunny winter days and crisp evenings are the perfect time to get out and explore our beautiful region, attend an event, take in a show or experience something new. Ipswich comes alive in Winter and this year the Ipswich Art Gallery Foundation are celebrating 25 years of purchasing art of cultural significance to add to the Ipswich Art Gallery collection. The 25 YEARS: The Ipswich Art Gallery Foundation large-scale exhibition is on now. Spark Ipswich returns from 7 to 17 July featuring day and night events for everyone, with music, comedy, arts, circus, technology shows, children’s festival and more on the program. The 2022 program will deliver fresh new festival content, visit Ipswich Festivals website for more information. The Festival of Horsepower gallops in June, a month-long program packed full of horsepower-fuelled adrenaline from drag racing at the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals on 9 to 12 June to horse racing at the TAB Ipswich Cup on the 18 June.
