LONGER OPERATING HOURS FOR RIVERVIEW RECYCLING AND REFUSE CENTRE

These permanent extended hours build on council’s summer season extended operating hours, which started on 1 December last year. Council remains committed to improving the quality of life for our residents and will continue to work to ensure that our community remains a great place to live, work and play. The Riverview Recycling and Refuse Centre is now open permanently from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm, seven days a week, all year round, with the exception of Good Friday and Christmas Day. After receiving positive feedback from the community, the opening hours have been permanently extended to provide easier access for residents. This change will provide greater flexibility and convenience to our residents who may have previously found it difficult to access waste disposal services during their busy schedules.
