Brighton Homes Arena was confirmed as an Olympic and Paralympic Games venue in the 2032 Delivery Plan released by the Queensland Government in March 2025 and originally slated to host modern pentathlon in the Future Host Questionnaire in 2021. Located in the heart of Springfield, Brighton Homes Arena is a top-tier venue, hosting televised sport, training camps and events. It’s the home of the Brisbane Lions AFL and AFLW teams, designed to support both men and women’s professional teams equally, making it the first facility of its kind in Australia. It boasts a natural turf surface, a 50x35m indoor training field, state-of-the-art Elite Training Facility, lap and recovery pools, and advanced learning spaces for athlete development offering everything needed to train with purpose and perform at your peak.
