NORTH IPSWICH SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT PRECINCT Sport : Rugby League, Rugby 7s, Soccer, Flag Capacity : 7,000 The North Ipswich Sport and Entertainment Precinct is home to the Queensland Rugby League team the Ipswich Jets and host to National Rugby League trial matches. The precinct is undergoing a $40 million transformation to become a modern, boutique rectangular stadium by the commencement of the 2028 season. The first phase of this redevelopment will feature a new western grandstand, upgraded field lighting, 2,000 grandstand spectator seats, a concourse, four changerooms and media facilities. With a high-quality natural turf surface, private training zones, hospitality facilities and optional broadcast and bump-in seating, the precinct is designed to meet the needs of elite teams seeking a focused, flexible, and professional environment in the lead-up to Brisbane 2032.
