Ivory’s Rock has all this and more, with mountain views, powered sites, wifi, bunkhouses and a rent-a-tent service where the staff will set up your tent and beds before you arrive. The park is suitable for caravanning and camping and open weekends with extended times during the school holidays. 2. Keira Farm At this 500 acre working cattle farm you will find beautiful views of the Flinders Ranges and a tranquil place to relax. The property has long had cosy cottage accommodation available with an outdoor spa, but now offers campsites and glamping. The couples only glamping tent features a queen size bed and quality linens as well as camp oven, esky, Bluetooth speaker and power bank. There is also a private gas heated camp shower and toilet. Hardings Paddock For a more rustic experience book into Hardings Paddock right at the foot of the Flinders-Goolman Conservation Estate. It's great for bird-watching, hiking, mountain biking and horse riding (BYO horse and bike). You will need to bring your own camp shower and drinking water but there are camp loos to use. 4. Rosewood Showgrounds The Rosewood Showgrounds camping facility is located 20 minutes from the Ipswich CBD and an hour from Brisbane in the RV friendly town of Rosewood. The showgrounds have 16 powered sites with access to water and sullage and 40 more unpowered sites. It’s a great place to start exploring the Cobb & Co Tourist Drive nearby the Grandchester Model Steam Railway. ■
