MOSS w/ Scraps

STUDIO 188 13 SEPTEMBER

From the breakout success of his debut single Lullabye feat. Akacia, which clocked over 200,000 plays in its first month, proud First Nations electronic artist Moss has quickly carved a name for himself in Australia and beyond. With support from global heavyweights like Marshmello, Yellow Claw and Jauz, and a home at October Records, Moss brings cinematic, bass-heavy production with emotional intensity . His track Sabre Teeth – which won triple j Unearthed’s DIY Supergroup competition and hit #1 on their charts – led to an official release featuring Genesis Owusu . In 2023, Moss reimagined Solid Rock with Goanna, Tasman Keith and William Barton , earning major industry attention and becoming the anthem for the NRL’s Indigenous Round and Brisbane Riverfire. His 2024 single Strictly 4 Tha with UK rap icon Example , released via Monstercat, earned nearly half a million streams and saw the duo tour nationally. On stage, Moss has electrified lineups at Wildlands, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Ability Fest and more, while also being selected by Ableton for their Live 11 showcase. Supporting Moss is Scraps – the ‘dehydrated disco’ project of Meanjin/Brisbane producer Laura Hill. Think cubist synth-pop, acid ballads and echo-laced storytelling. Woozy, warped and utterly unmissable.
