IPSWICH YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL CALLING ALL IPSWICH YOUNG PEOPLE Ipswich City Council is on the hunt for young people aged 13-18 years, that attend school in Ipswich, to join the Ipswich Youth Advisory Council (IYAC). IYAC act as a voice for Ipswich’s young people – giving them a chance to influence, raise awareness and make a difference within the community. Interested? Want to know more? QUEENS PARK ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTRE

The popular Queens Park Environmental Education Centre has transformed this year with a refreshing new look, fun new activities and extended opening hours. Escape the summer heat and bring the whole family to explore the air-conditioned space, full of information on Ipswich’s natural environment and ideas for sustainable living.

There will be a range of hands-on activities over summer, including sustainable Christmas activities in December.

The Centre is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9.00 am to 2.00 pm (also open Mondays during school holidays). The Centre will be closed from 23 December 2023 to 7 January 2024.
