Twigley Farm

and rustic charm just waiting to be polished back to life. The outhouse, once used for showers and amenities for farm workers, now houses a fresh and gleaming country bath house complete with clawfoot tub, wildflower surrounds and rural views. Guests can enjoy the tub before retreating next door to their private glamping tent known as the Forager, complete with its French provincial bed and chic furnishings. There’s a barbecue and a fire pit where couples linger watching the sunset give way to a starry sky. Sheds have been transformed into event spaces, an elaborate chook house has been completed along with vast vegetable gardens. And then there’s the jewel in the crown, Linning’s House, the lovingly restored three-bedroom Queenslander which group bookings of friends and families and bridal groups can enjoy in its entirety, from the wrap-around verandah to the beautifully styled interior and a vast back deck overlooking a century-old fig tree and farm lands. Linning’s incidentally pays homage to the street address named for the five generations of Linning family who have called the property home.

There was only one thing to do, so Paul and Amanda along with their daughter Caitlin and son-in-law Jamison, rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. The location was perfect, at least it was once tonnes of buried plastic had been removed from the land. The farm buildings had good bones
